As part of our social value commitment, GCS pledged to assist the Rotary Club of Chichester Harbour who were seeking a variety of different towels in order to supply the bath linen to families who cannot afford to buy them. 

The rotary club were looking for bath and hand towels that were new or as good as new with a target set for 50 of each style.

GCS assisted the rotary club in achieving this target and Theresa Brook, the Community Chairman said, “Big thank you for the lovely towels – they will make such a difference to families that have no proper towels or other household materials.”

We received two pictures of the rotary club’s storeroom showing the difference in the number of towels after our donation. Theresa Brook said “I attach two photos – one of our store with very few towels, and the second with your super towels – they came just in the nick of time and for that we are very grateful. Just this afternoon we gave out six towels to two families at the Foodbank in Chichester where we attend every week to provide all types of household materials and clothing to those in need.”

GCS are very proud to be able to assist in aiding the fantastic support that the Rotary Club provides to the many families they help.
